Downtown wedding

veilcoupleloupeLast weekend I got the opportunity to hang out with fellow shooter Steve Skibbie of Grand Design Photography as a second shooter for the wedding of Christina and Tyler at First Presbyterian Church in downtown Fresno. It’s a very cool old church I’ve been to for assignments for The Bee but never shot a wedding there before. The pretty light coming through the big stained glass windows was nice element to take advantage of and the surrounding area lended itself to some complimentary photos of the couple and the wedding party. While it was a bit chilly that day, the overcast light was a welcome change to the usual harsh Fresno sunlight. I learned a lot from watching Steve at work too.

It’s great to second shoot for a fellow wedding photographer. I love the sillhouette photograph of the bride and groom.
