Cody and Emily are my new friends from St. James Anglican Cathedral where I met them after photographing Elana and Daniel’s wedding at the same church last February. I got a lot of good feedback on that wedding shoot and I was happy to photograph Emily and Cody’s because they were all such nice people. I had an added bonus of shooting at the same church too. From getting ready, to the final bubble-blowing send-off, the day went on without a hitch and provided many great moments for photography. I want to thank my son Randy too, for helping me lug the lights around. Thanks Bud, Your cash is on the way!

During last week’s lightning storm I took my 5D outside to try and capture a bolt or two. In the top photo I was able to get a little lightning action and then in the second photo the flash of light was so bright, for a split second our street was lit up like the sun. The light was far greater than what I was exposing for giving that daylight look.
