Rachael & Andy: engaged

Rachael-Andy-76It was a wonderfully warm afternoon north of Millerton Lake for a little engagement session with Andy and Rachael last week. I’m also shooting their wedding which is coming up next month. Rachael met Andy a couple of years ago in his native England and came out to California a short while ago to start a new life. They were a great couple to shoot. They almost seemed to forget about me as they had so much fun hanging out with each other. Now I can’t wait to shoot the wedding!

The lighting in these engagement photos is gorgeous. I think my absolute faves are third from the top and third from the bottom. Those would make great HUGE wall canvasses!

I recognize the flag painted barn, I adore the one of you at sunset and the one at the giant oak tree is beyond awsome. I’m so glad I got to meet you and begin our friendship in Christ. Oh snap dude! Those are legit. Of course I’m biased towards flare and silhouettes, but this is a killer set start to finish.
