Karen & Brent: Married!

Karen and Brent, whose engagement I shot last November, were married at the Buddhist Temple in downtown Fresno. Their party moved on to Pardini’s were it continued into the night. I knew shooting this wedding, I was in for a lot of fun, and Karen and Brent did not disappoint – nor did their friends or family. It was quite a blast. I only wish I could join them, but I was working too hard to capture all the unforgettable moments that happened throughout the day and night. Good thing I had the talents of Bill Haines along, who backed me up as a second shooter. On this day we had seen forecasts for rain, but as luck would have it, the drops stayed away until we went into the reception. And the sky really gave us some incredible color do do portraits of the happy couple.

There are so many photos that I love. The first one at dusk is beautiful! The colors are perfect, as in all the photos. The dress in the tree is amazing, great idea.

Craig, love the dancing shot with the green light coming through! They definitely looked like a fun bunch – I wish more of my couples would do a quick shot to loosen them up beforehand! :)

Craig, nice shot of the wedding dress in the tree! I’m always looking for the perfect place to hang them and that never came into my head….it really worked well though.
